LISTEN: Michael Andrea has been awarded a British Empire Medal for his work with homeless people in Thanet - 28/12/2018

A man who works with homeless people in #Thanet has been recognised in the New Year Honours list.

Michael Andrea from #Ramsgate developed a project to get rough sleepers training and education, and help them move into accommodation.

The 44 year-old has been given a British Empire Medal, and says he was inspired after setting up the Global Generation Church in 2002.
