Bangladesh Peace Keepers Commence Repair of Major feeder roads in South Sudan

Bangladesh Peacekeepers serving under the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan have embarked on the repair of the main feeder road network linking Juba, Mundri and Yambio.

The 340 Kilometer road stretch is a vital supply route for humanitarian aid and logistical support for internally displaced persons and communities in need.

Speaking to Miraya Breakfast Show, Lt Colonel Maksud Ahmed, Commander of the Bangladesh contingent, said his 274 troops have completed the repair and maintenance of Juba – Mangalla road. He described this as a great achievement.
