UK Secretary of State for Defense Visits British Peacekeepers in South Sudan

UK Secretary of State for Defence, Cavin Williamson, is in the country to assess the performance of the 300 British peacekeepers serving with the UN Mission in South Sudan.

The British peacekeepers are providing engineering, medical services and basic infantry sup-port to the UN peacekeeping mission.

Earlier, Mr. Williamson told Radio Miraya’ Sworo Charles Elisha, that while some positive progress on the peace process is being scored, all parties to ensure a total cessation of hostilities.
