Divisional round recap, Chiefs running game, winning the the trenches, and more...

Episode 667,   Jan 14, 2019, 02:05 PM

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show looking at the winners of the Divisional round playoffs, starting with the Chiefs coming up big against the Colts, with Dane and Scott agreeing that the game was won along the offensive line, and getting pressure on Andrew Luck. Dane also questions if the Chiefs, already looking strong in the run game with Damien Williams, would benefit from trying to sign someone like Tevin Coleman, Mark Ingram, or Le'Veon Bell. The guys look at the Patriots dominating the Chargers, with Scott saying everyone wants to see the end of the New England dynasty, but the fact is as long as Brady and Belichick are breathing, they will be there in the Championship games. The guys like the narratives among the Championship games, with the possiblity of pitting the two legendary quarterbacks in Tom Brady and Drew Brees, or even the new guards in Jared Goff and Pat Mahomes. Scott and Dane look at the hard running renaissance of CJ Anderson, and if the Rams have found some sort of thunder to the lightning of Todd Gurley. Looking at the future of the Chargers, the guys look at the 2019 fantasy values of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, and also wonder if we have seen the last of Antonio Gates, or at the least the last of him as a Charger.
