Should I speak for free?

When people are first starting out as coaches or authors or even speakers, there are times when you should take nothing for speaking. You can instead do an exchange and bring a photographer or videographer to get some photos and a speaker's reel to demonstrate you are a proven product and give people more confidence and will often people will book you at a faster rate.
