Honda of Westport Couples Court- When should their son be allowed to go to a show alone?

Their 13-year-old son has a pair of tickets to see Panic at the Disco this weekend in Jersey. It was a Christmas gift that he really wanted. Dad had planned to go with him but now he's begging if he can take a friend instead. Mom says no way, it's floor and probably a giant mosh pit, and he's too young to maneuver around by himself with a buddy. Dad says he has a phone, he'll drive them and wait outside in the car during the show, he'll be fine. Who's side are you on?
