kmfm's been told the air ambulance that covers Kent, Sussex and Surrey went to more than 2,000 emergencies last year - including over 1,100 here in the county.
The service - which moved to a new base at Rochester airport last year - costs over £11 million a year to keep flying.
Chatham and Aylesford's Tracey Crouch has become the first MP to visit and see one of their three state of the art helicopters.
