Six Injured in Blast Explosion in Bor

Six people, all women and children have been injured in a land mine explosion in Bor. 

The blast occurred on Saturday in a small business center set up as a women’s bakery in Achingdiir estate, within Bor town. 

A landmine expert who rushed to the scene shortly after the incident discovered another three unexploded ordinances buried underground. 

Jonglei State information minister Atong Kuol Manyang explains the condition of the wounded.

“One of the women was taken to Juba. They were relatively in a stable condition. And the children were also ok."
