Second Session of UNMISS Supported Mobile Court Opens in Bentiu

The second session of the mobile court supported by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan – UNMISS opened Tuesday in Bentiu. 

The mobile court will over the next 9 days try cases of crimes committed inside and outside Protection of Civilian site.

Aness Ahmed the Senior rule of Law officer in UNMISS said the mobile court is part of the mission’s support to assist the Justice sector to adhere to standards enshrined in the country’s constitution.

He spoke to Radio Miraya’s Oliviere Ndikumana.
