Former #Chargers QB Ryan Leaf joins Tony live from #SBLIII Radio Row to talk on his rise and fall in the #NFL, when heading into the 98 draft, there was a legitimate argument to who the better quarterback was between Peyton Manning and Leaf; Ryan knew that he was better than everyone and wouldn't listen to a soul; he was dealing with a bunch of mental health issues but never addressed it which ultimately led to his flame out in the NFL.

Leaf did reach rock bottom when the local sheriff's department arrested him and sentenced him to jail. That still didn't really do it for him, but it started his pathway to recovery. While he was in prison is when he gained full reflection through his roommate, an Iraqi War Veteran who did not know how to read...it was the first time Ryan was called to service to another human being and it was in that moment that gave him a new outlook on life.
