Sensex, Nifty likely to open weak; Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, Jet Airways in focus

Indian shares are set to open lower on Friday, tracking its Asian peers as investors fretted about a broadening global economic slowdown, with sentiment not helped by the absence of any positive signs for a resolution in the US-China trade row. 

At 07:10 AM, the SGX Nifty, an early indicator of the Nifty 50's trend in India, was down 0.33 percent at 11,058.50, indicating a weak start for the Sensex and the Nifty.
