CTSAMVM submits budget to NPTC for national monitors

The Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring and Verification Mechanism (CTSAMVM) has sent a budget to the National Pre-Transitional Committee (NPTC) seeking support for its national monitors. 

National ceasefire monitors have been grounded for weeks because of a lack of funding. 

Sara Mukashaba, Acting Legal Advisor for CTSAMVM says they are waiting for communication on their budget request. 

Meanwhile, a three-day CTSAMVM Technical Committee meeting concluded in Juba this week.

The Technical Committee which is made up of senior Generals from the parties to the Revitalised peace agreement and CTSAMVM Leadership discussed the implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement.
The meeting has acknowledged progress has been made in the implementation of the Peace agreement especially in the security arrangement.
