Rights Groups call for investigation into disappearance of activists Dong Samuel and Aggrey Idri

Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are urging the government to investigate the disappearance of human rights activists Dong Samuel and Aggrey Idri who went missing in Nairobi, Kenya two years ago.

In a joint press statement, the rights groups say the two were last seen in a national security detention center in Juba late last year. 

Seif Magango, is Amnesty International’s Deputy Director in charge of East Africa, the Horn and the Great Lakes region. He says Dong Samuel and Aggrey Idri have been held without charge and should be released unconditionally.
