Sinn Fein MLA, and policing board member, Gerry Kelly says there are people within the PSNI capable of applying for the Chief Constable role

Sinn Fein President Mary Lou McDonald has been criticised after saying she thought there was nobody within the PSNI suitable of taking over from chief constable George Hamilton when he steps down in June.

The PSNI has faced heavy criticism in recent days after it emerged it had failed to disclose a number of documents to the Ombudsman in relation to the 1992 Sean Graham bookmakers massacre.
