The guys start the first hour of the show off with a somewhat controversial discussion about corporal punishment and where that belongs within the context of our society as the gang brings up the worst near-torturous punishments they received in school or growing up. Then the guys take calls from listeners who went to Catholic school and have their own tales of harsh childhoods. John and Lance talk about the Padres acquisition of Manny Machado and whether or not they will make a run for Bryce Harper as well. Then the gang wraps up the hour with a spirited conversation about how many pieces away the Jaguars are from competing.
