Public Lecture to recognize role of Bishop Paride Taban as a peacemaker

A public Lecture in recognition of Peace prize winner, Bishop Paride Taban, takes place in Juba today.
The Lecture comes 9 months since Bishop Paride was awarded the Four Freedoms’ Freedom of Worship Award by the Roosevelt Foundation in the Netherlands.
Loes Lijnders, Director, Institute for Justice and Peace Studies at the Catholic University of South Sudan, says a special panel has been selected to talk about Bishop Paride Taban as a peacemaker.
She explains why the Public lecture theme; Lessons from a Lifetime of Peacemaking” is significant.
