Japanese Scholar calls for determination and willingness to implement the South Sudan Peace agreement

A visiting Japanese scholar is calling for real determination and willingness to implement the peace agreement, so the country can attain durable peace.

Speaking to Miraya Breakfast show Dr. Daisaku Higash, a professor at the University of Sophia in Japan said the ongoing peace process needs must be inclusive to succeed.

“The question is whether the political leaders have the determination to do it and i have some sense,  that this time the political leaders have some sense and willingness to implement the peace agreement."

He re-echoed a call by the international community to see some progress in the near future.
