“Just get the dream, visualize it and get out and get it,” this is what drives Amelia Ajongo, whose passion for scaling the skies was achieved when she was declared one of South Sudan’s few female pilots.

As a woman from South Sudan, a country that has suffered years of conflict, Amela has pushed boundaries to raise South Sudan’s flag as one of the very few female pilots on the African continent.

Amela Ajongo, was more than happy to share her story with us on Miraya Breakfast show produced by Machrine Birungi and Presented by Irene Lasu.
