Norway’s Special Envoy calls on parties to ‘increase momentum’ for peace

“Time is running out, there is no plan B, everybody should join forces to implement the process,” the Norwegian Special Envoy to South Sudan and Sudan, Erling Skojonsberg has said,  as an eight-month "pre-transitional" period ends In about two months.

The government and opposition groups are expected to form a transitional government by May 12 under terms of the peace deal, signed last year.

Mr. Erling Skojonsberg has been in Juba to discuss the status of the peace agreement. He met with the Foreign affairs Minister, opposition representatives, women groups, think tanks and members of the National dialogue.  

So what could be the way forward to successfully achieve this milestone?

Sworo Charles spoke to the envoy and begun by asking him to describe what he has seen and heard.
