When a potential customer arrives at an airport, they will often post on social media what destination they are headed. This is a good opportunity for tourism businesses to connect with them.
For example, you can ask them what are they looking forward to during their visit. If they respond you can make suggestions and possibly offer a deal to entice them.
There are tools available that allow you to monitor social activity at a destination level. Hootsuite is one for example.
Use these tools to add an extra dimension to your marketing.
