An American Express survey showed that 85% of travellers wish to have a customised experience over a packaged itinerary, and they love to receive a personal touch.
The same survey also highlighted that 72% of travellers would spend more time planning a trip that is tailored to their interests, and they would happily pay more for the privilege.
Don’t rely on your website being the only real contact a traveller experiences until they take the tour. Add a human element prior to the trip to really show you care, it will help with word of mouth and repeat business.
