The first hour of the kicks off with the guys discussing Astros opening day against the Rays and how well they played at the plate versus Cy Young winner Blake Snell. Lance gives us his notes on Ed Oliver at UH’s pro day and what the numbers he put up could mean, also why more players are sitting out drills more often now. John brings up reports on Kelvin Sampson wanting to leave the University of Houston for Arkansas and not signing an extension with UH because of it.
