Through a burning sky

"I had hoped to have some ambient sounds from inside the shuttle and not just voices. Listening to the conversation between the shuttle crew and the ground suggested I should focus on the re-entry. This can be characterised by intense heat, compromised communication, sonic booms followed by a relatively quiet glide to landing. So I have used a number of drone tracks to suggest the approach to the earth’s atmosphere, the passage through and the glide with clips of the original to add interest."
