The efforts of a Medway based service supporting sexually abused children has been given a boost of £50,000.
From 2011 to March last year, the NSPCC's Gillingham centre has helped almost 250 young people.
The service offers a special play room where boys and girls can meet with practitioners in a comfortable environment.
Kent Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott awarded the funding and says their work is vital.
