Extinction Rebellion have announced that they are ending their environmental protests today. For more than a week, climate protests were held in various parts of London and other cities.Over 1,000 people were arrested since the protests began, police say. Organisers have described the environmental protests as the biggest civil disobedience event in recent British history while London mayor, Sadiq Khan, described the disruption caused by protests as "counterproductive" to the cause of climate change, saying it was stretching police resources. Stephen spoke to Dr Bing Jones from Extinction Rebellion - he was one of the many who were arrested - and commentator and former MP Lembit Opik.
