Attorney General William Barr told the House Judiciary Committee that he won’t show up for a scheduled hearing Thursday about Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.


Barr is “trying to blackmail the committee,” Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler told reporters Wednesday evening, saying that the executive branch doesn’t get to dictate the format of the hearing.
