This week, Chris sits down with Giulio Scriorio to discuss finding your true voice and vision as a photographer.

Giulio is a Lumix Luminary, and will be teaching at the Out of Chicago Portrait Conference, held April 8 and 9.

In this podcast, he talks about finding out who you really are as an artist through creating with intention. Giulio mentions his own past with dealing with creative blocks, and how finding his vision ultimately led to how he now produces photography.

Giulio mentions building a “vision file,” to help you match what you find inspiring.

He also discusses creating aerial panoramas with drones, as well as what he’s been reading recently — “A Whole New Mind” by Daniel Pink, and “Show Your Work!” by Austin Kleon.

Giulio will be teaching “Finding the Photographer’s Vision” at the Out of Chicago Portrait Conference on April 9, followed by his “Carry Less. Create More.” photowalk. You can learn more about his class and the other classes offered during the conference by visiting portrait.outofchicago.com.
