Foreign Ministers from the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) are expected in Juba tomorrow for an extra-ordinary session to endorse the extension of the South Sudan Pre-Transitional period. 

The Council of Ministers meeting on the 07th and 08th will receive a brief on the consultative forum of party leaders that concluded in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia last Friday that unanimously endorsed the six-month extension. 

In an exclusive interview with Radio Miraya, the interim Chairperson of the Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (R-JMEC), General Augustino Njoroge said the meeting is also expected to explore concrete and meaningful trust building opportunities over the next six months.
