White House Chief Economic Adviser Larry Kudlow seemed to contradict President Donald Trump on Sunday, admitting that Trump's increasing tariffs on Chinese goods will put an economic burden on American consumers and businesses.

Kudlow sat for an interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday where he said that both the U.S. and China will suffer consequences from the tariffs. "In fact, both sides will pay," he said.
