TV presenter Ant Middleton has received a backlash after saying he would tell his 10 year old son to "man up" if he saw him crying.
The host of SAS: Who Dares Wins insists he is teaching his son how to manage his emotions.
He received criticism from Loose Women's Saira Kahn, who said he was "failing" as a parent. She added, 'I have a son and I would never say man-up or grow-up.'
Is it now wrong for parents to encourage their children to control their emotions?
Stephen talked to commentators Tina Calder and Simon Warr.
