Alix's birthday month is here, and The Horrorble People's Podcast is celebrating with a film that's equal parts ambitious, gruesome, and badass: 2012's AMERICAN MARY from the Soska Sisters!
The team looks at the career of the Twisted Twins, and how their film "Dead Hooker in a Trunk" earned them an opportunity to rush the script that would become their major breakthrough. Anthony and Alix break down the story as it unfolds, taking a look at the representations of the body modification community, and the badassery of Katharine Isabelle. It isn't for the squeamish (so, Anthony) but you guys should be prepared for that by now, and it's only the beginning of a big birthday extravaganza (of death)!
