The victims of historical institutional abuse in Northern Ireland are one step closer to receiving the compensation they were promised. The political parties and the head of the civil service are presenting a united front to the Secretary of State on draft legislation at Westminster. Last month, Karen Bradley sparked protests from victims' groups when she refused to bring legislation to parliament - instead she sent the parties a list of questions that she insisted they needed to answer. Yesterday, the parties reached agreement on those issues and a joint letter is now being drafted for the Secretary of State. Stephen got reaction from Margaret McGuckin from the victims and survivors group, SAVIA, UUP MLA Mike Nesbitt and Alliance MLA Paula Bradshaw.
