Imagine having a heart attack. Imagine seizing up with chest pains or falling over. You'd want to be rushed to your nearest hospital, wouldn't you? Well think again. In many cases that doesn't happen. Depending on the type of heart attack, you may well be taken straight to either Belfast or Derry, bypassing your local A&E, for specialist treatment. 2019 sees the 5th and 10th anniversaries of a specialist treatment called 'primary PCI' at Altnagelvin and Royal Victoria Hospitals. Stephen spoke to John Compton - the former chief executive of the Health and Social Care Board - and musician Flash Harry Hamilton who recently had a heart attack.
