The second largest Ebola outbreak in history has killed more than 1,300 people since it began in August last year and has now spread across the border from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Uganda.

Doctors, aid workers and the government have been unable to contain the virus in the Democratic Republic of the Congo — a country in the midst of civil war. Now two people have died from the Ebola virus in neighboring Uganda, including a 5-year-old boy.
