All by herself - Stormont drinks reception cancelled after parties decline Secretary of State invite

Secretary of State Karen Bradley has had to cancel her drinks reception for MLAs at Stormont after the political parties said they would not attend. The invitation stated it was a chance for "informal" talks. Yesterday a government spokesperson said "The Secretary of State respects that the parties have concluded they are not ready for this yet.
