Yesterday we reported that according to the Cancer Research UK charity - obesity now causes more cases of 4 common cancers in the UK than smoking!
Well - a 25 year old woman in England was refused an operation recently because she is a smoker.
Mum of 2, Bethany Glass, was told by doctors at the Spire Hospital in East Yorkshire that she needed to be smoke free for six months in order to have the procedure to remove her gall bladder.
Aileen O'Reilly and Fionola Meredith discussed this with Vinny.
