Episode 951,   Jul 05, 2019, 07:00 AM

The leader of the National Democratic Movement Dr Lam Akol Ajawin says the 6 parties of the South Sudan Alliance will go ahead to decide on the election of the group's leadership if the parties led by Gabriel Changson and Denay Jock Chagor continue to absent themselves from reunification meetings.

This comes a day after Gabriel Changson who leads the Federal Democratic Party and Denay Jock Chagor who succeeded the late Gen Peter Gadet as head of the South Sudan United Party/Army declared a new leadership structure.

Religious leaders from the South Sudan Council of Churches have been trying since March to reconcile the leaders of SSOA but discussions stalled suddenly while a committee was trying to propose a solution.

Dr Lam Akol told Radio Miraya in an exclusive interview that the other six parties of SSOA will soon decide the next step without the two parties.

Dr. Lam spoke to Gabriel Shadar in this interview.
