NI Executive Formation Bill debated by MPs.

MPs will today decide whether to use an emergency act of direct rule to liberalise Northern Ireland's abortion laws and introduce equal marriage. The Northern Ireland Executive Formation Bill is designed to keep government in Northern Ireland ticking over while the devolved executive remains absent. It also allows amendments to be put forward.
