Audio Described Treats for August 2019.

Audio Description (AD) can be delivered, via headphones, to blind and partially sighted theatre goers to make the performance more enjoyable and inclusive.
The describer tells the patrons what is, visually, happening on stage in between the actors dialogue.
Each month RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell speaks to Anne Hornsby, from MindsEye Arts, to look at some touring productions and other arts venues and attractions that use AD.
This month they discuss, amongst others, the musical Motown and, for the kids, We're Going On A Bear Hunt.
