Paul Gallant fills in for John and he and Lance kick off the show talking about Deshaun Watson’s football IQ and how this training camp he needs to learn to play smart and read the defense. They then discuss the Rockets upcoming season and how their failure to be the best is not because they lack skilled players, however, the Texans reason for being unsuccessful is lack of talent as the little talent they do have repeatedly gets injured. The guys talk about old Disney movies and their secret dark messages then transition into pitchers closing out games and who’s inconsistent/consistent and the importance of it in a game.
