Episode 976,   Jul 30, 2019, 01:03 PM

The Deputy Spokesperson of the SPLA-IO says a lack of food and essential items may delay the assembly of opposition forces at cantonment sites beyond the July 31st deadline.

Colonel Lam Paul Gabriel says the SPLA-IO has been working to meet tomorrow’s deadline but are finding it increasingly difficult without the basic services.

The Joint Transitional Security Committee instructed government and opposition forces to assemble at their barracks and cantonment sites by July 31st.

Col Gabriel says the process will be fast-tracked when expected consignments of food arrive in the coming days.

He spoke to Sani Martin in this interview.
