The Steves beat the Bulldogs 8-5 in the first round of the 2019 Region 8C Tournament at Hellie Field. Bo Schmitz and Tony Schmitz blasted Homers for the Steves, as 3 pitchers combined on the mound with starter Chris Belling getting a no-decision, Jake Schelonka got the Win in middle relief and Blake Guggenberger nailed down the Save. Chuck Boser Homered and drove in 2 runs for the Bulldogs.
