A grassroots forum aimed at gathering voices of ordinary people on the progress of the implementation of peace agreement in #SouthSudan will kick off in Juba today, August 27, 2019.
The conference supported by many stakeholders including #UNMISS and the University of Juba has drawn participants from all parts of the Country. It is under theme: Grassroots roles in the peace process.
UNMISS Civil Affairs Officer Saleem Baig and Political Commentator, James Okuk spoke to the Miraya Breakfast Show and said they are optimistic the parties to the peace agreement will form the revitalized government of national Unity in November.
