'Operation Yellowhammer' documents warn of NI roadblocks and protests here as potential fallout from a no-deal #Brexit

Job losses, protests and road blocks could be the result of fallout from a no-deal Brexit according to a government document as Operation Yellowhammer scenarios were published last night. The document said that some cross-border trade would stop and agri-food would be worst hit by tariffs. It predicted some firms would stop trading and those that continued would face higher costs which could be passed on to consumers. Meanwhile 51% of Northern Ireland voters would back a united Ireland according to a new poll, If there was a border poll tomorrow. The poll was conducted by Conservative peer Lord Ashcroft and interviewed 1,542 adults online between August 30 and September 2.
