Broadcaster John Humphrys hits out at BBC for 'liberal-left bias' days after retiring

Just two days after leaving Radio 4's Today programme, the presenter John Humphrys has criticised the BBC saying there is "a form of institutional liberal bias" within the organisation and that he is now free of 'the BBC Thought Police.'  In his book, A Day Like Today, Humphrys also said the BBC was terrified of offending "fashionable pressure groups - usually from the liberal Left, the spiritual home of most bosses and staff".
