A team of Indian orthopedic specialists is expected in the country to support the war wounded and accidents survivors with 500 artificial limbs.
The visit was announced during a tour of the orthopedic workshop in Juba yesterday (Monday) by a delegation from the Indian Embassy and the Jubek state Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare.
The team led by the Head of Chancery, Sushil Kumar Rajoria, said the specialist will fly-in once repairs on the facility have been completed.
The Embassy gave the Ministry 2 weeks to do repairs.
Jubek state Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare, Rose Lisok Paulino acknowledged the concerns and said renovations are ongoing.
