IGAD 'encouraged' by progress made towards peace in South Sudan

The Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD), says it is 'encouraged' by the progress of the implementation of key security arrangements in the revitalized peace agreement. 

The IGAD mediators point at the cantonment of forces which is ongoing with screening and registration of troops at cantonment sites and barracks. 

Philip Mwanika is a Senior Political Advisor at the IGAD South Sudan Liaison Office in Juba.
