Three Words (///method.bitters.tumble)

Hallgrimmskirkja reimagined by Nick St. George.

"Picking up the C&M gauntlet once again, this project provided a somewhat different challenge - not only to incorporate the usual field recording, but also the location of that recording's 'What 3 Words' address. A church in Reykjavik gave me the not-terribly-promising combination of ///method.bitters.tumble.

So - 'Method' immediately said Method Acting to me. And a trawl of librivox.org gave me PD versions of the folksong 'The Bitter Withy' ('Bitter' repeated to give the plural) and a 19th Century New York Times story about a certain "Mr. Tumblety".... The field recording was surprisingly interesting when played backwards, add to that some musical bits and pieces, plus Psalm 20 read in Icelandic (appropriate to the location - thank you, Freesound) and a soupçon of Method (?) acting (thanks again, Freesound) - and there you have it.

Could the address of Cities & Memory HQ possibly be "remixing.the.world"?"
