Former Binfield FC chairman Rob Jones is in the hot seat this week talking through how the Moles went from village side to Hellenic League mainstay.
Episode Eight of Berkshire Football focuses on one of Berkshire's success stories in Binfield FC, charting the rise from a separate junior and senior club to where it is today.
Hosts Tom Canning and Rob Davies speak to the Moles former chairman Rob Jones who was in charge at Hill Farm Lane for 13 years.
Rob, talks about laying the foundations for the club to grow, how a meeting with Bobby Ellis brought two clubs together and the numerous obstacles and challenges they had to overcome.
The 2000s was a big ten years for the club that saw ground improvements such as the installation of floodlights as well as a fairly successful time on the pitch that included promotion to the Hellenic League Premier Division.
