Breaking Blind Stereotypes In Life & In Media

Stereotyping can have a negative impact on the lives of blind and partially sighted people and is often influenced by their portrayal in the media. 
 
Dr Catalin Brylla works in the specialist field of undoing harmful stereotypes and as part of his work he has produced two documentaries, with a third on the way, which explore the everyday lives and artistic practices of artists living with sight loss. 
 
Dr Brylla spoke with RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley.
